Our school conducted a donation drive as of part Life Skill Activity through Value Education, to develop the value of compassion, empathy and sharing among students. The aim was to extend help and share love to people who are less fortunate than us.
The donation drive was conducted in the school from 4th May, 2026 – 7th May, 2026 where parents, teach-ers and students donated different items like clothes, shoes, toys, school kits and others.
On the 18th of May, 2026 a teacher delegation visited the shelter and handover the donated items. A short interaction session was held with the residents of the shelter where a song was performed and speeches from both the parties – the school and the shelter were given.
Learning Outcome:
The activity enhanced social responsibility and the value of sharing through donation of items and times.
