Cleanliness Drive: An Activity for SEWA/HPE (The 25th August, 2025)

As a part of completing the required Work Experience for the academic session, 2025-26 and as a step towards inspiring and educating children about the importance of civic responsibilities, understanding the value of responsibilities and accountabilities, the Primary Department (Class III-V) has decided to conduct Cleanliness Drive in the school’s premise on the 29th of August, 2025 (Friday) with the theme, “Let’s Get Obsessed about Cleanliness.”
The following are the expected Learning Outcomes to be achieved through this project:

1. Learners are able to understand the importance of cleanliness in maintaining public health and hygiene.
2. Learners develop practical skills in cleaning and practicing cleanliness in various settings.
3. Learners demonstrate a change in behaviour towards cleanliness, such as adopting good hygiene practices and reducing wastes.
4. Students learn to work together to achieve cleanliness goals.

Project In-Charges:

Role of Mentor/Teacher:

1 Act as an initiator and motivate learners to be ever vigilant in maintaining cleanliness at all public places such as school, markets, parks, gardens, malls, streets etc., as well as while using public transport, public utilities.
2 Focus on the tidiness of Class Room, Library, corridors etc.
3 Arrange advertisement or posters for generating awareness about the importance of cleanliness in both public and private space.
4 To hold discussions in class regarding the activities of the upcoming project and ask students to share their ideas on how to fulfill and participate in the project.
